How do I refill a butane lighter?

TopI just recieved my lighter. When I tried to ignite it, it did not work. Why?
The lighters are shipped without butane filled in them due to shipping regulations imposed by Department of Transportation. Please refill your lighter with Premium Butane while following the instructions on how to refill a butane lighter.

Try lowering the flame height by adjusting the flame adjuster (located in bottom by the refil valve) by rotating it towards "-" sign using a flathead screw-driver. If the problem still persists, then return the lighter to its manufacturer.

USPS occasionally fails to scan the package upon arrival. The package is on its way. If you do not recieve it within 3-4 business days then please let us know.

Orders are usually processed the next business day. We are currently unable make any exception for your order to ship on the same business day.

TopWhat shipping method do you use to ship lighters?
Due to FAA regulations, lighters must be shipped via ground parcel services. Express shipping is not available.
TopIf I order a lighter today, can I recieve it tomorrow or day after?
Yes but butane will be emptied out of the lighter. Due to FAA and TSA regulations lighters cannot be shipped by air with butane in them.

TopHow long can my engraving message be?
Unless otherwise noted on the item page, the maximum length for your engraving is 12 characters per line. If choosing a monogram font, the maximum length is 3 characters.
TopCan I get my logo on the product?
Yes. We offer laser engraving service for logo engraving. Please email us your logo at info@elighters.com in jpg or eps or tiff format (300 dpi resolution preferred) with the quantity you would like to purchase. We will give you a quote based on the quantity ordered and amount of time it will take us to setup and engrave.TopI need to expedite engraving on my order. How do I do that?
We do offer expedited Engraving service for a nominal charge of $4 per item. Please select "Expedite Engraving?" to "Yes" on item page where the engraving info is entered. Orders without expedite request will be processed in the order they were recieved. Top

Please follow these steps:

Put engraving info in the engraving box, choose fonts and click on "[ + ] Add Another Personalized Product" button. Click on "Add to cart" button when done with input of all engraving info.

For standard text engraving of products that we offer engraving service, there is no setup fee. If a logo or image needs to laser engraved on an item then setup fee is charged based on the amount of time to be invested in getting the job done.
TopI want to order engraving with roman monogram fonts. In what order should I enter the initials if I wanted to engrave Jeff Frank Smith ?
Engraving has to be entered in the EXACT ORDER you want the engraving to be done. e.g. If you want "S" to be larger and in center for monogram of Jeff Frank Smith, then you need to enter "JSF" in the engraving section while selecting a monogram font.

When you find an item that you want to purchase, click the image or name of the item to view its detail page. Here you will find more information about the item, including availability. If you want to order the item, click Order and continue shopping.

TopI Received a damaged or defective item.
Please email us at with your order number, name, address and details on the item you received damaged or defective. We will instruct you on how to proceed with correcting your order. If you would like a replacement sent to you and the requested item is in stock, we will ship it to you immediately. Your credit card will be charged for the second shipment, but will be credited for the return once we receive it in our fulfillment center. We will assist you in returning the original shipment for a full refund, including shipping charges.
